The Children’s Leadership Institute is a Colorado Non profit organization (501 C3) founded in 2005. We are changing communities through our community outreach and leadership education. Working with youth (K-12), teachers, schools, and communities, we introduce youth to the ideas, beliefs and behaviors associated with personal growth, leadership and character. Through our comprehensive, hands on approach incorporating social emotional learning, we reach youth (k-12), impact teachers, inspire communities and rally around leadership and providing tools to help our youngest generation become our next generation.
We offer school districts a highly interactive K-12 program on Leadership EQ/Social Emotional Learning. Our LEQ training empowers staff and students with the knowledge and skills to increase their emotional intelligence, achieve more academic success together, and choose the life of their dreams.
Emotional Intelligence (EQ) is the ability to recognize, understand, and manage emotions within yourself and in your relationships with others. A high EQ is critical to conscious leadership, better decision making, and it’s also the #1 predictor of personal and professional success. Most importantly, unlike IQ (which is fixed and measures ones ability to learn) EQ consists of 4 core skills that are flexible and can be developed.
- Self Management
- Social Awareness
- Relationship Management
When staff and students develop high LEQ, all their goals and dreams really can come true.
